[ Abstract ]
The ditch of Aynadamar seems to be the first one to provide water to madina Garnata (the ancient city of Granada). To allow that, the ziri government and the new inhabitants who came from Elvira to the quarter of the Alcazaba (located in the Albayzín) needed to reach an agreement with the qarya (village) of Víznar, that also took water from the ditch. In this paper, turns and use of the water are analysed.
