STANDARDS FOR THE PUBLICATION OF PAPERS

1. The Magazine will publish any original paper on the topics dealt and written in any EU official languages, provided they comply with the scientific and academic quality that the Magazine wants to achieve.

2. The author/s should have to send their manuscripts to the Magazine Editorial Council. Thereafter the papers will be read by two anonymous evaluators who will report on their quality and adequacy. Once their publication is resolved by the Editorial Council, the author/s will have to accept the modifications proposed by the evaluators, the publication being conditioned to this requirement.

3.
No paper will be published without the decision of the Editorial Council that expressly renounces to the publication of any paper that does not comply with the scientific and academic quality and systematisation that distinguish the scientific works.

4. The papers will be typewritten to a space, with typeface «New Times Roman» 12 pt or equivalent and will not exceed, in any case, 20 pages (9.000 words) with a variation of ±10%, including tables, graphics, maps, notes, bibliography or any critical apparatus.

5. The first page will contain the title and the data of the author/s, as well as a summary (200 words max.) written both in the original language and in English.

6.
The Council will watch over for the style quality of the papers. No boldface nor underlined types will be used whatsoever. The italic will be reserved only for those words coming from a foreign language.

7.
The textual quotations will always be put in quotation marks and the comments introduced by the author will appear in braces so that they can be differenced clearly from the text quoted. If the author decides to separate those quotations from the text, they will form an independent paragraph, also in quotation marks and indented 1 cm.

8.
The bibliographical references will appear at the end, under the epigraph Bibliography, arranged by authors in alphabetical order as follows:

  • Author’s last name (in capital letters);

  • Author’s name (in low case letters);

  • Publication year (in brackets and distinguishing a,b,c,... in case they mention more than one book from the same author published in the same year);

  • Title of paper (in quotation marks) or title of the book (in italic);

  • Editorial for books or magazines (in italic);

  • Number of the magazine;

  • Number of pages.

9.
All notes will be footnotes, numbered correlatively in Arab characters and raised to the top of the line. The bibliographical references will mention the author’s last name (in low case letters), the year in brackets and the reference pages.

10.
Tables, graphics and any other critical apparatus will be numbered correlatively, with the title and the sources clearly specified.
