TST is included in the LATINDEX system. Its directory contains information of more than 9,000 journals in the Social Sciences. A total of 33 quality criteria are analysed, and only those titles that meet at least 25 of these criteria are included in its catalogue. At present TST meets 30 quality criteria.

TST is also recognized by the DICE (Dissemination and Editorial Quality of Spanish Journals in the Humanities, Social Sciences and Law), which facilitates knowing and consulting some of the editorial characteristics of the most closely related to quality Spanish journals in the Humanities and Social Sciences, thus complementing the data offered by RESH (Social and Human Sciences Spanish Journal). The ANECA (National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation) uses this database as a reference of the quality of Spanish publications in its university teaching staff evaluation process.
